That's most of what I saw that is. I spent most my time working in the media room this year and missed all the panels. I even missed the Firefly LARP and the dance, but I did manage to get to run a GURPS game for 4 hours and make the late night parties. I am particularly broke this year so I only made two or so cursery runs through the dealers room and didn't see anything I couldn't live without. I would say our quality of vendors has gone up a tad as has the quality of the fan movies we got to show this year. Everyone wanted to see "The Hunt for Gollum". It's a fan made movie but from looking at it, you'd think they rented Peter Jackson and New Zealand to shoot it. It was phenominal! The acting looked profesional, the locations were breathtaking, the costumes looked were just wow. My only complaint would be they could have given the female romantic lead a nose job, but I'm picky about noses. I'm sorry, when she came on camera, all I could do was look at her amazing white nose sticking out like a unicorn horn. Can't they air brush that stuff now days? Lots of good action, fine killing of orks and well, lots of nose. lol I did this year get a bit of a chance to see much of the costumes before the contest. I admit I ADD'd out of the improv fan comedy light bulb joke session and didn't see the actual cosplay, but I did get a chance to see a few of the players standing out in the hall and this year's selection was very good. (pictures pending) I did run that GURPS game in one of the board rooms. It did turn out very well and they did give me a lot of good RP, I don't think we had as much action as I wanted. I still have the characters and I may run a continuation of the game next year as per request. By then, I will have my rules down better and I won't be looking stuff up as much.
