California is burning down

Being that I am an astronomy nut, I wanted to share the webcam from the top of Mt. Wilson Observatory near Los Angeles. There is a 150 foot tower used for Solar observation with a webcam showing the smoke of the rapidly approaching fire. Wilson Observatory[/caption] This is the same observatory that Hubble determined that the universe was expanding and developed the Hubble Constant to describe that expansion. There is a 100 inch telescope here that was built in the 40's. It would be a terrible thing to lose to this fire.
