So I sold the boat and that is now done, now I'm in the process of cutting all my ties of the various things associated with keeping a boat and I'm almost done.  The most frustrating thing has been canceling the insurance on it.  

Due to the archaic system of insurance being run with a system of agents and insurance companies using agents to distribute their services.  And the fact my coverage on the boat policy was administered by an agent that retired or died or something.  I can't get them to cancel it.  I keep getting the run around from Nationwide and they keep forwarding me to an agent that doesn't exist anymore.  So I did the 21st century thing of deleting my financial info from their site and stopped the autopay.     We'll see if that works to canceling it.
